Licensed Insurance Sales Representative


Job Overview

**Performance Bonus Opportunity: We will pay an accelerated performance bonus of $5,000 for applicants with all of the following attributes:

  • Active P&C or Personal Lines License and Is ready, willing and able to work from from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM M-F Alaska time
  • Presently, or within the last two years, appointed with an Allstate Insurance Company Exclusive (Captive) Agency
  • 3+ years sales and service experience with an Allstate Exclusive (Captive) Agency
  • Is proficient in coordinating with Allstate's RMBC, Billings, Claims, Tech Support and ASIC while engaging a client at the same time
  • Utilized sales training systems similar to Role Play with the Olson Agency or Craig Wiggins Coaching

Candidate would receive a base hourly wage + commissions + bonus + renewal commissions.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • At a minimum, Candidate must have 2+ years of sales experience with an Allstate agency within the last 2 years.
  • Candidate must have 2 years of experience with eAgent - Allstate's proprietary CRM software.
  • Candidate must have experience with ALL FOUR of the following Allstate service teams: RMBC, ASIC, Claims, and Tech Support.
  • Candidate must have an active Personal Lines License, or equivalent.
  • Candidate must have detail orientation to be able to effectively look up notes and client information in eAgent while servicing clients so that you can effectively pivot into cross-sell conversations.
  • Must have a minimum of 2+ full years of previous personal lines insurance sales experience within an Allstate Exclusive Agency.
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Alaska time, (this is non-negotiable).
  • Candidate must be presently, or very recently appointed with Allstate Insurance.
  • Candidate should be able to prove expertise in bundling and cross-selling proficiency via sales logs or similar.
  • Possessing the ability to work autonomously, arrange tasks according to their importance, and collaborate in a team-oriented setup.
  • Basic computer software knowledge. Agency Management System (AMS) or CRM with automatic dialing experience is preferred.
  • Set and work towards performance goals to meet or exceed targets, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Exemplify professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create an authentic and positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
Responsibilities
  • Use exceptional relationship-building skills to establish trust with clients and maintain retention and product loyalty.
  • Advise clients on suitable insurance policies depending on their needs and objectives. Close sales effectively.
  • Prospects for new business via cross-selling existing $14+MM book of business.
  • Lead with Liability. Discussing PUP benefits unlocks additional cross-selling opportunities for both financial services and other personal lines. Having the correct liability conversation results in issuing more than 30 policies a month generating additional commission opportunities.
  • Skillfully address client objections and concerns, utilizing a consultative approach to provide solutions and overcome objections, ultimately securing their confidence and trust in our services.
