*This is an IN-OFFICE position , located in Pinellas County, St Pete FL, due to state laws regarding a 4-40 insurance license*

*This position is a Base Hourly wage + Commission + Bonus opportunities monthly which makes up the total compensation stated as shown* Commission is earned through Sales of New Insurance Policies.

We are looking for long term employees seeking a career path in the Property and Casualty Insurance market (Home, Auto, Liability Insurance etc.), among many other insurance types. We do not "burn and turn" good candidates, as it's a waste for all of us. We invest heavily in great staff.

*First year income potential is $58k-68k+, 2nd year $62k-70k+, 3rd year $70k+ or more.. your limit is yours alone, all inclusive. Plus Benefits like Health insurance Etc. These are estimates.* They are based on desire and skill. First year income can certainly be more if you're the Rockstar. Higher level insurance licensing also taken into account. (20-44, 2-20, and 2-15 AKA Life Insurance)

Our Allstate Insurance Agency is looking for high volume new Customer Acquisition talent. We are growing, with more leads than we can handle…. and we need more talent to go with that. We are a successful Allstate Agency located in the Tampa Bay Area (St. Pete Specifically but handle the entire state) offering a competitive base wage with very high commission potential, bonuses and BENEFITS (Health Insurance, Dental and more). Want leads? You will have leads. People who need and want your help, and have asked for it. Cold calling is where you broke the ice. Now show the skill. We will teach you to handle what you can’t. Any previous sales experience will be considered for this position. Experience is preferred but NOT required.

Examples: Cellular (cell phone) sales, retail, vehicle sales or rental industry, restaurant and bar experience, just to name a few.

Insurance Sales Specialists are responsible for offering the benefits of Allstate Insurance products to prospective and current customers, as well as quoting and closing policy sales. We offer a High Level of Training, High Quality leads provided along with opportunities to cross sell and help current and prior customers with constant contact, including technical automation done for you to assist on follow-up and organization.

Licensing required (but easily attained) and Experience is helpful, however we can teach you the insurance industry. In turn you will provide education to customers and prospects on possible solutions for protection from every-day risks, including Auto, Home and Life insurance. We have a solution for virtually anything. Helping people is our #1 priority, but it does take convincing on occasion. This is where you come in. We are professionals.

Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year

Requirements

  1. Own or have the ability to obtain: Minimum of a Florida Property and Casualty 4-40 license (a requirement). Higher level licenses preferred but not necessary. Such as 20-44 or 2-20 Insurance license preferred , plus Life/Health 2-15 License).
  • 2-15 Life Insurance License a plus! (And offers additional commission!)
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Pass background check.
  • Only self motivated individuals should apply.

  • Have a high level of computer skill to navigate various programs.
  • Take inbound Sales Calls to quote new insurance business.
  • Call for outbound prospecting to existing customers and warm lead sources of many kinds
  • Seek out individual referral sources including current customer base to find those seeking you personally.
  • Call to follow up with prospects after business is quoted - Follow Up is a key to success
  • Cross-sell existing customers.
  • Comply with Allstate Underwriting, document collection and office procedures
  • Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude and have high ethical standards
  • Organization is also highly important. The one who is organized and follows up the most wins. Statistics prove this.
  • Technology skills are a must. We are 100% dependent on technology to complete our duties.
