As an Insurance Agent, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals and families find the right insurance coverage while providing top-tier customer service. This role involves building relationships, educating clients, and ensuring they feel confident in their policies. You’ll thrive here if you’re someone who values teamwork, shows persistence, and brings enthusiasm to every interaction. You’ll manage a Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM schedule with a competitive base pay range + the commission potential giving you an expected first year earning potential of $35K–$55K+. Requirements
  • An Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
  • Integrity & professionalism—always do the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
  • Effective communication—must be articulate and confident across various platforms (phone, email, text, social media).
  • Computer proficiency—comfortable using multiple applications and adapting to software updates.
  • Curiosity & willingness to learn—insurance is complex, and we expect continuous growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills—able to multitask, adapt to interruptions, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • A strong work ethic, commitment to high standards, and a bit of aggressiveness when it comes to meeting goals and helping clients succeed.
Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.This requires strong listening skills, the ability to communicate clearly, and an approach rooted in honesty/integrity.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement. A blend of enthusiasm, persistence, and persuasion is essential.
  • Prepare quotes, process applications, and maintain accurate client records—attention to routine detailed work, efficiency, and being highly organized & planning oriented is a must
  • Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims guidance while staying calm under pressure and demonstrating exceptional follow-through.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through proactivity, flexibility/adaptability, and teamwork.
