The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing customer relations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients seeking information, support, and changes related to their current insurance policy. The end goal of this position is to create an exceptional customer experience, strengthen the client relationship, maximize policy retention, and uncover cross-sell opportunities for the agency.

· Active appropriate state insurance license in good standing is required.
· United States citizenship or its equivalent.
· 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience; or 5+ years related experience in the insurance industry.
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of commercial lines insurance products, coverages, and industry practices.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to address and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Meticulous attention to detail and precision in data entry and information management to ensure accuracy in customer transactions and records.
· Proficiency in using computers, agency management software, and other relevant technologies.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Ability to innovate and provide constructive feedback to clients and others.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
· Insurance professional designation (CISR, CIC, ARM, etc.)
· Vertafore AMS360 agency management system proficiency preferred.
· 5+ years of commercial lines account management experience.
· Strong network within the insurance industry.
· Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts while providing a world class customer experience.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carriers by meeting and exceeding expectations.
· Provide clients with thoughtful, expert advice on coverage options, policy changes, and risk management strategies.
· Prepare and present proposals, renewals, and other insurance documents to clients.
· Work the renewal process, including confirming client information, receiving renewal terms and re-marketing when necessary
· Handle client inquiries, claims, and policy changes in a timely and professional manner.
· Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure appropriate coverage and identify potential gaps and cross-sell opportunities.
· Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
· Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in the agency management system.
· Handle other duties as assigned by the Branch Leader.
