Requirements
Must have an active state insurance license, a good personality, works well with others, a natural desire to help customers and prospects, comfortable with prospecting conversations, Willing to follow processes and instructions, must be coachable and trainable, a willingness to meet sales goals, a basic property and casualty product knowledge, organized and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Helps the long-term success of the agency by following the agency's guidelines and operational processes.
- Prospects for potential clients by utilizing servicing conversations, as well as agency marketing campaigns such as mailings, emails, telemarketing, referrals, making presentations to groups, and other marketing campaigns.
- Determines clients' particular needs by quoting and explaining coverage options that meet their immediate and long term goals.
- Obtains underwriting approval by completing application for coverage.
- Completes coverage by delivering policy; planning future follow-up visits and evaluations of needs.
- Provides continuing service to customers by thoroughly completing service request, customer policy reviews, and courtesy follow-up calls.
