Insurance Sales Representative (Warm Transfers + Referral Growth Role)

We are a high-performance insurance agency focused on homeowners and auto insurance across multiple A-rated carriers.

This is a sales + relationship role, combining:

  • Live inbound warm transfer sales
  • High-conversion follow-up system
  • Long-term referral development (realtors, builders, mortgage partners)

You will be working structured, high-intent conversations — not cold calling.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inside Sales (Warm Transfers)
  • Take live inbound warm transfer calls daily
  • Quote home + auto (bundle-first approach every time)
  • Present multiple carrier options (Mercury, Progressive, Allstate, etc.)
  • Execute a structured follow-up system (5-day cycle)
  • Outside Sales (Referral Growth)
  • Build relationships with realtors, builders, and lenders
  • Maintain consistent local presence
  • Generate referral-based opportunities over time

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior insurance experience preferred (P&C, home/auto)
  • Comfortable handling live customer conversations
  • Strong communication and adaptability in tone
  • Coachable and process-driven
  • Consistent execution over hype or personality
  • Ability to build both pipeline and relationships

Compensation Structure (range given on ad is for average performer - above average & elite can expect to be in the 80-150k range)

  • $1,000/month base (training + ramp support)
  • Commission (Tiered Structure)

Commission is based on monthly written premium:

Tier 1: $0 – $10,000 premium

Included in base support (no additional commission)

Tier 2: $10,001 – $30,000 premium

3% commission

Tier 3: $30,001 – $50,000 premium

5% commission

Tier 4: $50,000+ premium

5% – 6% commission (performance-based cap tier)

Renewal Commission (Important)

1% renewal commission

Applies to:

All policies you write

starts being paid on month 13 of policy

Total renewal eligibility window: 2 years max per policy cohort

Typical Household Example

Average household premium: ~$2,800

At full commission tier:

~$150 (avg) per household total compensation potential (upfront + structured renewal)

7-Day Paid Evaluation Period

We run a short, performance-based evaluation period to ensure fast alignment.

During first 7 days:

  • You receive ~2 warm transfer calls per day
  • You run real customer conversations immediately
  • You are evaluated on execution, not theory
  • Evaluation criteria:
  • Call control and communication
  • Ability to follow process
  • Closing instinct
  • Follow-up discipline
  • Coachability and speed of adjustment

Outcome After 7 Days:

  • Top performers: move into full production with increased access to leads (30-40% close rate)
  • Average performers: continued development with limited lead flow (20-30%)
  • Poor fit: release from role (20% or less)

This structure rewards execution speed and eliminates long ramp uncertainty.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
