Insurance Agency Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Farmers Insurance Agency Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our insurance agency operations, including sales, staff management, customer service, and business development. This position requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record in insurance sales, and the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve goals.

REQUIRED Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance sales, with a proven track record of success. (required)

  3. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within the insurance industry. (required)

  7. Proficiency with technology, computers, and insurance agency management software. (required)

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements

Responsibilities
  1. Sales Management: Drive sales performance by setting and achieving targets, monitoring sales activities, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue generation.
  2. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of insurance agents and support staff. Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  3. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  4. Agency Operations: Oversee day-to-day agency operations, including administrative tasks, policy issuance, claims processing, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the local market. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  6. Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess agency performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop action plans to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  7. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders. Represent the agency at community events, networking functions, and industry conferences.
  8. Compliance: Ensure that the agency operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in the insurance industry and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
  9. Financial Management: Manage agency finances, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue forecasting. Monitor financial performance against targets and take corrective action as needed.
  10. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure that appropriate insurance coverage is in place to protect the agency against liability and losses.
